Mr. and Mrs. Wakayama started the Khmer Farm in 2016. They live in Takeo Province, and deal with local farmers to make their produce. They supply many healthy organic products such as the famous coconut oil, nutrient rich palm sugar, and high quality peppers. Each of their jars for sale is packed with natural product blessed by Cambodia’s nature, and full of Mr. and Mrs. Wakayama’s hope.

They set up this venture with the hope of, even if only a little, helping the impoverished local farmers in their times of need, and to provide them a more stable lifestyle. Much work was done in order to have the produce of the 6 farmar families of local suppliers of coconut oil meet strict health standards. “Lately there have been little improvements in the oil suppliers’ lifestyles. Their smiles please us, and they’ve become the driving force behind us.” The proceeds from product sales are also being returned to producers.
