Sunway Hotel Phnom Penh, a 4-star Deluxe hotel conducted CSR activities for Cambodian community.

Sunway Hotel Phnom Penh

A 4-star Deluxe hotel located very near by Wat Phnom. Because of its convenience of access, it is popular both business or leisure scene.
There are 138 rooms designed chic and warm atmosphere, some with private balconies with views of Phnom Penh city. They also have a gym, a spa, and meeting rooms.

The Report of Previous CSR Activity

Sunway Hotel Phnom Penh, we are not only doing business, there is a small project where we can help Cambodian community with their needs is another thing to do as a part of our corporate social responsibility. For instance, we have donated some school materials and served a full lunch for young girls who are living at AFESIP Cambodia Tom Dy Center.

AFESIP Cambodia is a non-government organization where works to care for and secure the rights of victims or at risk of being victims of sexual trafficking, violence, abuse or indentured slavery and exploitation and to successfully recover, getting education/training and reintegrate them into mainstream society through financial independence in a sustainable and innovative manner. We accomplish this by helping and teaching them how to achieve financial independence through sustainable careers. We then welcome them to become part of our self-independent survivors’ network.

The school’s material that we donated such as course books, history book, school bags, and one used-computer desk top. Apart from donating, we also spent some time during lunch with them and made sure they had a full meal. We talked and shared our loves to them, and we served lunch to young group.

After lunch, these little girls sang a song that described how hurt and painful through the hard life they faced. Some of them also told us their future planning. This was such an emotional feeling and touched our heart, so that we just can’t hold our tear and pity them so much as some of them are at very young ages.

We only hope and bless them with a very good opportunity to grow up with their bright future and leave their worst past.

This is not the end project that Sunway Hotel Phnom Penh will do to help Cambodian community. We will do other projects that are meaningful to our social.
