“Demeter” brand herbal tea by Roselle Stones Khmer, such as original blended tea that matches the body rhythm by the lunar phases, blue color butterfly pea tea etc. These tea are beautiful and good for health.

Ms. Nishiguchi came to Cambodia as a staffer with a medical NGO in 2008. Once she set her eyes on a single hibiscus, her mind was set on creating herbal teas in order to compensate for operating expenses of the clinic that she worked for. She started out by growing plants at her work, and drying them out.

She now has 10 different herbs, with suppliers being farmers from various areas of Cambodia. She works with the farmers using trial and error to continually improve the quality standards of her products.

“Recenltly, Cambodian customers have also gradually increased. As all my teas are healthy, not only as souvenir, I’d like many people to take it for daily diets.” Ms. Nishiguchi will continue developing new tea blends, and aims hold an event where customers can make their own original tea blends, with unique packaging and logos.
